Acrisure, a fintech company, has announced the appointments of Mark Wassersug as Chief Technology Officer and Shawn Pelsinger as Chief Administrative Officer. Wassersug brings more than two decades of experience from Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), where he served as Chief Operating Officer and contributed to the company’s growth through strategic acquisitions and operational leadership. In his new role, he will oversee Acrisure’s technology initiatives, focusing on financial technology and integration efforts. Pelsinger will be responsible for legal, human resources, and regulatory functions, while also supporting business development activities. He joins Acrisure from Palantir Technologies, where he led global corporate development and helped establish operations in Japan and Korea.
The appointments come as Acrisure continues to expand its technology platform and enhance service delivery across insurance, reinsurance, payroll, benefits, cybersecurity, and mortgage services. Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Acrisure, Greg Williams, emphasized, “Their expertise will be key as we expand our global technology platform and build a differentiated business.” President John Tuttle noted the new executives’ extensive fintech experience and their ability to support the company’s fast-paced transformation. Both Wassersug and Pelsinger expressed enthusiasm about joining the company and contributing to its momentum. They will report directly to Williams as Acrisure continues building its platform to meet the needs of clients across diverse sectors.
