Pismo has appointed Vishal Dalal as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a strategic leadership transition aimed at supporting the company’s growth and international expansion. Dalal, who has served as CEO for North America, Europe, and Asia since 2021, brings over two decades of experience in banking and payment systems, including leadership roles at McKinsey, Citibank, and Barclays. He succeeds Co-Founder Ricardo Josua, who guided Pismo through a significant growth phase and its acquisition by Visa. Based in London, Dalal will focus on extending Pismo’s reach into new markets while reinforcing the company's customer-first approach. Josua commented, “I entrust Pismo into Vishal's hands and will continue to support Pismo in an advisory role.”
As part of the leadership update, Rodrigo Melato has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer. Having joined Pismo in 2022 as Vice President of Sales, Melato will now manage the company’s sales strategies and customer engagement across markets. He brings over 20 years of experience, including time at Salesforce in roles focused on financial services. The rest of Pismo’s founding leadership team—CTO Daniela Binatti, CPO Juliana Binatti Motta, and VP of Engineering Marcelo Parise—will continue in their current roles. These changes support Pismo’s ongoing efforts to build on recent progress and strengthen its operations under Visa’s ownership.
