Temenos Appoints Rohit Chauhan as CTO and Eugene Khmelevsky as Global Head of Architecture and Data

Temenos has announced two senior appointments to reinforce its product and technology leadership team. Rohit Chauhan has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO), while Eugene Khmelevsky will serve as Global Head of Architecture and Data. Both leaders will operate from the United States and report directly to Barb Morgan, Chief Product and Technology Officer. Morgan expressed confidence in the new hires, stating “They are seasoned technology and people leaders with deep banking expertise, a sharp market focus and a deep expertise in the U.S., which are high-growth markets for Temenos. Their track record in developing secure, data-driven banking solutions – and their experience leveraging AI, Gen AI and cloud technologies – will help us drive innovation that delivers long-term value and success for our customers.”

Chauhan will guide the company’s overall technology direction, leading research and development, and fostering collaboration with clients and partners. He brings more than 20 years of experience from roles at JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley, with a strong background in digital banking technologies and platform modernization. Khmelevsky, in a newly created role, will focus on ensuring a solid architecture and data framework for Temenos’ product offerings. With over 25 years of experience, including leadership roles at FIS and JCPenney, he has led initiatives in digital transformation and embedded finance. These strategic hires reflect Temenos’ aim to expand its presence and technical capabilities in financial software development.
