Visa has introduced the Visa Commercial Integrated Partners program to improve integration between fintech firms and its commercial payment solutions. The program provides advanced APIs that allow business application providers to embed Visa’s payment functionalities into their platforms. This enables financial institutions to offer more seamless and efficient payment options without requiring complex technical integrations. Partners in the program, such as Car IQ, are already utilizing these tools to deliver payment capabilities through their software, allowing customers to use virtual cards for transactions like fuel purchases with minimal development time.
The initiative also offers pre-integrated fintech solutions to help financial institutions adopt and deploy new payment features quickly. Through this framework, Visa aims to support a wide network of business partners globally while also adapting to local requirements. Features available through the program include payment tools for ERP systems, mobile and vehicle applications, tokenized virtual cards, and expanded data on transactions. Darren Parslow, Global Head of Visa Commercial Solutions stated, "By leveraging our network and Commercial APIs, we are enabling our partners to innovate faster, reduce development and distribution costs and deliver superior payment experiences to their clients – it underscores Visa's commitment to driving the future of digital payments and supporting the growth of the fintech ecosystem globally."
