Visa has appointed Andrew Torre as President of its Value-Added Services (VAS) business, a $9 billion segment that has experienced annualized revenue growth of 20% since 2021. Torre will succeed Antony Cahill, who was recently named Regional President and CEO for Visa’s European operations, pending regulatory approval. Torre will be based in San Francisco, report directly to Visa CEO Ryan McInerney, and become a member of the company’s global leadership team. In his new role, Torre will lead the development and delivery of Visa’s VAS product portfolio, which includes services that extend beyond traditional payments.
McInerney stated, “Andrew’s experience leading Visa’s fastest-growing region, his client-first approach, and his deep commercial expertise make him the standout choice to build on Antony’s success. We are in an optimal position to scale a high-growth and attractive margin VAS business rapidly, and we could not be more confident in Andrew’s ability to make the most of this extraordinary opportunity.” Torre has held multiple leadership roles since joining Visa in 2002, most recently as Regional President of CEMEA, where he helped expand the firm’s presence to 23 offices and supported over 1,800 clients in 86 markets. Visa has launched an internal search to name its successor in the CEMEA region.
