Donnelley Financial Solutions (DFIN), a software and fintech solution provider, has appointed Ayman Sayed, President and CEO of BMC Software, to its Board of Directors. Sayed will stand for election at the company’s 2025 annual meeting and will serve on the board’s compensation committee. His appointment follows the retirement of Charles D. Drucker. With Sayed’s addition, DFIN’s board will consist of eight directors, seven of whom are independent. Richard L. Crandall, Chairman of the Board, welcomed Sayed, emphasizing his extensive experience in software innovation and leadership, which aligns with DFIN’s strategic goals and commitment to enhancing shareholder value.
Sayed brings significant expertise in software development, product innovation, and executive leadership. At BMC Software, he led a strategic transformation that drove consistent financial growth. Before BMC, he held leadership roles at CA Technologies and Cisco Systems. In addition to his new role at DFIN, Sayed serves on the boards of FD Technologies and Elisity Security, strengthening his governance background. Expressing his enthusiasm, Sayed said that he looks forward to supporting DFIN’s continued growth in financial regulatory and compliance solutions. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cairo University.
