FPT Corporation, a Vietnam-based technology and IT services provider, has entered a strategic partnership with Audax Financial Technology, a digital banking solutions firm supported by Standard Chartered. The alliance aims to generate $ 100 million in revenue over three years by delivering scalable, cloud-native digital banking solutions across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Under the agreement, FPT becomes Audax’s largest regional partner, supporting development, deployment, and long-term operations. The joint offering addresses growing demand for digital financial services in underbanked regions by helping institutions modernize core systems and adopt models such as embedded finance and Banking-as-a-Service.
Executives from both organizations emphasized the strategic value of the collaboration. Kelvin Tan, CEO of Audax commented, “We’re excited to join forces with FPT to deliver a flexible, cloud-native solution that meets the needs of banks. Together, we’re setting a new benchmark for agile banking infrastructure, helping institutions modernize quickly and efficiently while driving financial inclusion.” Pham Minh Tuan, CEO of FPT Software, noted, “Building on our nearly three decades of experience in the financial services domain, and a longstanding partnership with Standard Chartered Ventures across multiple strategic projects, we will accelerate digital banking transformation and help our customers expand access to secure, future-ready financial services.” The partnership builds on a collaboration that began in 2023 and reflects FPT’s growing presence in fintech, supported by a workforce of 3,000 engineers serving more than 200 clients. It also aligns with the projected surge in digital banking markets in Asia Pacific and the Middle East through 2030.
