GFT has appointed Rishi Chohan as its U.S. CEO, succeeding Marco Santos, who became the company’s Global CEO in January 2025. Chohan, with more than two decades of experience in software and services, will focus on strengthening GFT’s relationships with U.S. banks, financial institutions, and manufacturers. He will also expand technology partnerships to support GFT’s AI-driven initiatives. The appointment aligns with GFT’s five-year strategy to enhance its AI capabilities internally while introducing industry-specific AI solutions to its clients. The company aims to help businesses modernize their infrastructure to better integrate AI, addressing the challenge that while most companies invest in AI, only a fraction see significant revenue growth.
Chohan will collaborate with GFT’s Regional Head Chris Ortiz, who has led the company’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific and UK markets. GFT has recently deepened its AI expertise through partnerships with NVIDIA, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud, as well as through the continued development of its AI-powered software tool, GFT AI Impact. Chohan expressed confidence in AI’s potential to transform industries and looks forward to leading GFT’s efforts in accelerating digital transformation in the U.S.
