InvestCloud, a provider of wealth management technology, has announced the appointment of Josh Mayer as Chief Operating Officer of its APL business, reporting directly to APL President Cheryl Nash. The new leadership role is aimed at enhancing the firm’s operational capabilities and service delivery across its APL offerings. Mayer will oversee the strategic direction and execution of the Private Markets Account, a solution that enables the integration of public and private investments within a single managed account. APL, one of the largest managed account platforms in the U.S., currently supports more than $3 trillion in assets across nearly 10 million accounts and 4 million investment models. Mayer brings over 25 years of experience in business leadership and financial technology. Before joining InvestCloud, he served as COO at Envestnet, where he helped guide the company through its IPO and led key operational transformations.
His appointment marks a significant step in APL’s expansion, particularly in the private markets space, where the platform has recently launched a dedicated network for private market models. According to InvestCloud Chairman and CEO Jeff Yabuki, Mayer’s expertise will help reinforce APL’s position in managed accounts and support the company’s broader mission to simplify investment management for wealth advisors and institutions. On his appointment, Mayers stated, “I’m energized by the team’s commitment to elevating this time-tested platform as we define and develop the industry standard for private asset management infrastructure. I look forward to building on InvestCloud’s legacy of WealthTech innovation as we enable new opportunities and success for our clients.”
