Lloyds Banking Group appointed Aritra Chakravarty as Head of Agentic AI, where he reports directly to Rohit Dhawan, Director and Group Head of AI & Advanced Analytics. Chakravarty brings more than 20 years of experience across financial services and technology, including roles in capital markets, payments, and AI-driven automation. His professional journey spans major financial hubs including New York, London, Hong Kong, and Silicon Valley, where he has led innovation in digital finance and automation. Most recently, he worked with JIFFY.ai on generative AI and language model-driven automation, and he previously founded Project Imagine, a regulated fintech firm.
In his new role at Lloyds, Chakravarty will lead the development of agentic AI systems aimed at improving decision-making, efficiency, and customer experience. These systems are intended to operate with greater autonomy, helping to modernize business functions across the Group.
