Onbe, a corporate payouts platform managing $3 trillion in business-to-person payments, has appointed Sayid Shabeer as its Chief Product Officer. Reporting directly to CEO Bala Janakiraman, Shabeer will help Onbe enhance financial services and software partnerships to modernize corporate payout operations. Onbe’s platform provides clients with custom-branded and contextually relevant payment experiences, offering digital options including virtual cards and mobile wallets while simplifying complexities for businesses.
Shabeer brings extensive experience to Onbe, having previously led product and technology teams at High Radius, where he helped transform the company into an industry leader handling more than $10 trillion in annual accounts receivable volume. Earlier, he guided merchant product innovations at Vantiv, now Worldpay, following its acquisition of Little & Co. Janakiraman praised Shabeer’s ability to drive market-driven innovations, noting that his expertise aligns with Onbe’s mission to simplify enterprise payments. Shabeer expressed enthusiasm for accelerating the digitization of consumer and workforce payouts, stating that Onbe’s platform is uniquely positioned to address the growing demand for modern payment solutions.
